Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team of healthcare professionals who provide exceptional rehabilitative care. Our Occupational Therapists play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their functional abilities and independence following acute illnesses or injuries. This role involves assessing patient conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Evaluate patients’ functional status and occupational roles using specialized assessments Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Educate patients and family members on therapies and interventions Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and responses Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care Regularly assess and report on patient progress, updating treatment plans as needed Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices Ability to design and execute therapy programs tailored to patient needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of therapeutic equipment and techniques Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapy license NBCOT certification preferred
