close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice
clinicians at Canyon Vista Medical Center. Work alongside a diverse
group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational,
and training backgrounds to our team. Our nurse practitioners
practice to the top of their scope, with support from attending
physicians when needed. Teamwork is at the heart of our culture,
with colleagues always ready to lend a hand during procedures or
shift changes. Many team members actively participate in hospital
committees, such as the medical executive committee, and lead
initiatives to improve patient care and update order sets. We are a
family-oriented group committed to your wellness and combating

and in-person meetings. Qualifications: Board-certified in
emergency medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine
experience. Ability to manage various emergency cases in a dynamic,
high-volume environment. J1 candidates invited to apply; access to
Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and
credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are
paid, and services are covered. Accepting new graduates, residents,
and fellows. Flexible Scheduling: 12-hour shifts. We’re always
there to support each other when covering shifts. Full-time
employment is 120 hours per month. Key Responsibilities: Provide
care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma
designation. Annual ED visits 40,000. Manage a variety of emergency
cases, including triage and fast-track patients. Collaborate
closely with Sound’s hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless
transition of care. Work within a multidisciplinary environment
supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a
cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care,
neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site
inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with
dialysis capabilities in the ICU. Living and Working in Sierra
Vista: Sierra Vista, located an hour southeast of Tucson and
nestled among scenic mountains, offers an easy commute to Phoenix.
Due to nearby Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista has a significant
military and veteran population. It is renowned for its friendly
